On 28 August 2025, it was time for all of us to leave the office and embark on an adventure! This year’s company outing took us to Courtelary, to the Maison Cailler Camille Bloch – and the bus journey from the car park at TOGA FOOD SA at 12:15 p.m. already promised a good time. No sooner had we set off than there was laughter, chatter and a little speculation about what might await us.
Once we arrived at Camille Bloch’s bistro, we enjoyed a leisurely lunch. With good food and lively conversation, it quickly became clear that today was not just about the programme, but also about spending time together away from the daily grind.
Refreshed and full of anticipation, we then split into two groups. Group 1 was able to dive straight into the sweet world of the Ragusa workshop: getting creative, mixing ingredients and designing their own chocolate – a highlight for many! Group 2 started at the same time with a guided discovery tour through the exciting world of Camille Bloch. This gave us a fascinating insight into the history of the brand, its traditions and, of course, the art of chocolate making.
After just under an hour, it was time to switch groups. This meant that everyone got to enjoy both – creative work with chocolate and an educational discovery tour. It was particularly nice to see everyone coming out of the workshop with sparkling eyes – some proud of their own creations, others impressed by the stories behind the brand.
At 4:30 p.m., we set off on our journey home. The mood on the bus was exuberant – with full bellies, chocolate in our luggage and lots of new impressions. At around 5:30 p.m., we arrived back at the car park at TOGA FOOD SA – completely satisfied.
This trip showed us how valuable shared experiences like this are. Away from our everyday working lives, we were able to get to know each other even better, laugh a lot and discover something new together. We’re not only taking home some delicious chocolate, but also lots of wonderful memories.
