Electric mobility – how we are making our fleet sustainable

At TOGA FOOD, sustainability is not just a buzzword, but an ongoing process that is reflected in all our daily decisions – especially where we can act ourselves. One forward-looking step in this direction is the electrification of our own vehicle fleet.

Why are we focusing on electric mobility?

Business mobility is one of the areas that has a major impact on our ecological footprint. That is why we at TOGA FOOD have decided to gradually convert our vehicle fleet to electric mobility. This will enable us to significantly reduce our own CO₂ emissions and at the same time make our day-to-day operations even more environmentally friendly.

For us, electric mobility means:

Reducing CO₂ emissions: the more electric vehicles there are on the road, the smaller our contribution to climate change will be.

Quieter and cleaner everyday life: electric vehicles produce no local emissions and thus help to improve air quality.

Compatible with renewable energies: In Switzerland, the electricity mix covers a large part of the energy demand from hydropower and other renewable sources – an advantage that we consciously exploit for our fleet.

Our concrete path

The transition is taking place gradually and systematically: existing vehicles are being replaced by electric ones as soon as it makes operational and economic sense to do so. At the same time, we are creating the necessary charging infrastructure and training our team in the efficient use of the new models.

Our goal is to reduce our CO₂ emissions by 80% by 2028 – through a vehicle concept that is not only sustainable but also suitable for everyday use.

One building block in the bigger picture of sustainability

Of course, the electrification of our fleet is only one part of our sustainability strategy. We continue to work on questioning and improving processes – whether in energy consumption, reducing food waste or selecting partners who share our values.

But when it comes to mobility, we are making concrete progress on our own responsibility – and we are looking ahead, not just at today.

Electric mobility – how we are making our fleet sustainable
Sustainability does not end with the product. By electrifying our business mobility, we are consistently reducing our carbon footprint within our own sphere of influence.
